And is there any real significance to the car radio being tuned to 93.3?

and are any of the "actors" real personalities or just "one-offs"?

This is all in the Everyday is like Sunday video, in case one needs to know.

not sure, but on the 'hulmerist' video collection, clips from 'everyday is like sunday' are used as an intro to 'november spawned a monster' but with the actors talking instead of the music, [the first person I ever had sex with is on that concert footage he hugs morrissey on stage, he was an arrogant shit and a lowsy lay.

I am watching this dvd at the moment...that's why I have all the questions.
Which bloke is the louse? in which video segment?...there are lots of guys hugging Morrissey in that footage.

I am in no way gonna put that awful 'lol' thingy but thankyou for making me laugh... inside of course, I wouldn't even dream of telling you, he doesn't deserve to be looked at and he zooms passed very quickly, he was a louse, but a screwed up one, boyfriend number two was a dammed f***ing nightmare, I was in a dyke bar sporting a quiff and he had flat hair when I saw him 10 minutes later he had my hairstyle, and like lame duck I fell for it/him, he was a fan of boy george which says it all really.....

he was bad lay, bad lay. he was a bad lay, ba-ad lay.

so the seaside town? i'd say Blackpool, I went there in 1993 some vile blokey types....

You poor thing. Never go with a guy who sports your hairstyle.

And speaking of hairstyles, watching the Hulmerist video is a good reminder of a lot of bad hairstyles, but that was the eighties...a time before arse and tribal tattos and landing strip hair pubic hair.

Morrissey should have made a good penny on all those Smiths t-shirts everyone was wearing.

Well, I've been to most of the shittiest seaside towns in Britain, but, I have to say, when Moz played Bridlington, it all made sense. The very best I've ever seen Moz, and I met some wonderful people there. Bridlington has to be it for me.

Sk.

ref smiths tshirts

I pretty sure that most of them were bootlegs, I always regret not going to that wolverhamton gig, but I wouldn't camp out for anyone, which is what most of the people I know did.

I believe it is "south end on sea" at least that is what I have been lead to belive.

The blonde younger woman in the car was a "Coronation St." stalwart in the 80's . She played a hairdresser called "Suzie Birchall", as I recall, alongside "Gail Platt", who is still in the show.
The older woman is one of the greatest actresses of the 20th/21st Century, Billie Whitelaw. She premiered many of Samuel Beckett's most important plays, including "Not I", perhaps the most extraordinary theatrical work of the last century. She is probably best known as Mrs.Kray in the biopic with the Kemp Brothers from Spandau Ballet.
Hope this helps

i once heard it was scarborough. ive never been there but it sounds like one of those boring seaside towns... but theres so many of those kind of towns it could be anywhere... personally i think its worthing, cos worthing is also a boring seaside town (and unfortunately i know that for a fact having had to live there for too many years), and also loads of evacuees were sent there during the 2nd world war cos it was never bombed, so it could be the seaside town they forgot to bomb!
