Hillary Duff - Morrissey connection?

Deano is currently in Good Charlotte (whether long or short term) and according to Morrissey, they are still in contact. Hillary Duff is having some of her music written and produced in part by members of Good Charlotte.

Will there be future news from Duff that she has been in the company of Morrissey? Will Morrissey write lyrics for her? Will Morrissey cast the old crusty Nancy Sinatra aside and tutor/mentor the young supple Duff?

Hilary Duff recently said that Good Charlotte's Joel and Benji Madden have written and produced three songs for the actress/singer's next album. MTV.com reports that Duff discussed her upcoming album, due August 16, while promoting her next film, The Perfect Man. Duff described the new tracks as "a totally different sound. The first one we're going to release is very dancey, kind of pop — not '80s, but kind of with that in it, so it's very fun. Another is more techno, like DJ Sammy almost, and the third one is a Pop-Punk song, more like [Good Charlotte's] music."

Did you hear about Duff covering The Who's "My Generation" and changing the lyrics to "Hope I DON'T die before I get old", to make it more positive for the kids? I mean, really, pop culture nowadays focuses on so much icky, negative stuff, and glamourizes deviancy.

Perhaps she should do positive covers of Morrissey songs.

Any ideas?
