I actually like the Kaiser Chiefs! They aren't that much of an offshoot from Blur.

After listening to their album...
I have to say they do have talent, but are they for real? Listen to "Team Mates", it's not just similar to Blur, it IS Blur in every way shape and form. It's like a lost B-side from the Modern Life is Rubbish era. When I was listening I had the strange thought of "hey, it's good to hear real Blur again". "Caroline, No" recalled early Blur, too.
Some great hooks, though. The chorus of "I Predict A Riot" is storming, and the opening track ("Everyday I Love you Less and Less") is a corker. I hear The Ramones in that vocal, Strummer in others, Damon in others...
I have to say that while the singer (Ricky Wilson?) has the right energy for a frontman, he looks so...normal. He's the guy in the front row of a gig, not the guy on the stage.
