I am giving the Tory Party a second glance.

They do have a policy on "Immigration" at least.

    (That was for you Goat)

I would love the Liberals to "have a go Joe", but we know that wont happen.

Phoney Blair blew his chance with the Iraq debacle.

I guess I'll just not bother at all.

Didn't the Tories support it too?

I heard Tony Blair might step aside in two years for Gordon Brown to take over.

    Not enough.

They have all lost the plot where socialism is concerned.

Tony Benn was the best leader they never had.

Oh he is vegetarian too and so against "cruel sports".

Benn would have been my IDEAL in Utopia.

We know that never happens though don't we.

Anyway, I am making myself out to be a liar now as I was supposed to sign out.

Just caught your response though, so.

Don't all those lefties in the UK support the Euro and EU constitution?
Certainly you can't be down with that, can you?

Probably doesn't matter because the French people will reject that consitution first. Another defeat for Chirac's goal of a centralized EU superpower!

    Please, Britain, preserve your independence.

Gordon Brown was once a card carrying member of the "Communist" party in his student days.

    Aren't they all?

Then gain very lucrative positions in "corporate" organisations.

    Never mind though eh?

Tony Benn is totally opposed to the EU.

He is the most lefty lefty we have on the left. (ha ha)

So NO the real lefties do not support our involvement.

I would say many on the left do support our EU inclusion.

Tony, is with the Tories on this one though.

He does not want us to lose our monetary system
    i.e, convert to the Euro.

He also feels we would lose our independent power to run our own economy.

He was against joining back in the 70's when Ted Heath (given a back-hander, by all accounts) led us into the road to ruin.

Anyway, I really have to go to sleep now so I am not being rude if I never reply again.

    Goodnight.
