You know, i really do enjoy Morrissey's solo-music, it's fun
and sing-along like..i honestly mean it i do, but i am so sorry
to admit it, but the smiths era was better. His newer stuff, except
for a few exceptions, lacks so much soul, and that's good, depending
on the mood your in, but The Smiths were true art. I don't know
waht happened to Morrissey, i suppose he grew old and..something
changed, but it was most likely Johnny Marr and Morrissey seperated.
You guys, Morrissey and his writers now could never accomplish
together The Queen is Dead..i mean, my god listen to "I Know it's
Over", or "There is a light..", such beauty! And he had such wit!
Sorrow..he was revieling himself with Johnny's music, you can't
say his work now compares with The Smiths..why? Because they are
as different as light and day. His work today is more "pop", not
as in popular, but as in the pop style..maybe not even that. But
Johnny and Steven had something special, they brought out something
beautiful in one another and left thousands like me breathless.
I don't long for the Smiths to be back together, except for the
small wished that i could see them..i realize something like that
can only come about once and i accept it. I listen to Morrissy
solo with a different ear. But seeing the title to this DVD means
more then just a simple name..it is sad, because it says nothing.
Please readers, don't accuse me of being pissy or not a real
Morrissey fan, because i am.
