I'd best sit out of this one.
I am only able to discuss flowers and nail polish and hair-dos you see.
I know when I'm beaten by those so much more intelligent than myself.
I mean, you should read their defence...

Normally goes on the lines of:

"You racist scumbag you should be banned from this board"

    Or

"You old hag/skank(whatever that means, obviously another Americanism)

Anyway, it pains me too much to go over them all, suffice to say:

I have nothing to say, as they never have.

Default I think the China/Arms Embargo/Taiwan issue is the most pressing right now

Boy has the EU got themself in another tough spot, declaring they wanna lift the arms embargo on China and then China passing a law threatening violence against Taiwan.

Of course it's been slimeball Chirac of France and his partner in madness, Germany's Schroeder, who are most keen in lifting the embargo. After China's disgusting new threats on Taiwan, at least some sanity started to emerge in many other EU states, such as Britain and Sweden.

France and Germany: Always can be counted on to send exactly the wrong messages to the most evil regimes in the world.

Meanwhile hundreds of thousands were int he streets in Taiwan this weekend protesting China.

Who's side are you on, Chirac? Will French weapons be used to slaughter Taiwanese? Once again, all you care about is money.

I don't know what to make of the claims that Taiwan is part of China. The people of Taiwan don't seem to be saying this, nor does this historical timeline suggest it's so: http://www.taiwandc.org/hst-1624.htm I can't claim to be an expert in these matters, however. All I know is I support those in Taiwan who love democracy, those in Tibet who want to end China's occupation, and those in China who want their "life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness." And I will oppose those who wish to sell arms to China until China's evil regime has changed.

Default You notice the girl's "democracy" sign is in English? Here's why

Just as the Lebanese protesting Syria have chosen to write many of their signs in English rather than Arabic, so to have many of the Taiwanese protestors of China chosen English. The reason for this is simple. They are speaking to the world. They are calling out to YOU and all of us. They are asking you to stand with them.

Are the Europeans petitioning their governments to oppose aiding China's military build-up now that China has made a clear threat that they're willing to slaughter innocent people? I sure hope so.
