So....Here is my faithful report......
When my friend and I pulled in, the first person I recognised in the parking lot was Boz talking to some people...we (My frind and I) went in and paid 12.00 to see the bands, and bowl...we played pool during the first band, and watched as Boz bowled...(I have secured his bowling score sheet which says that Boz has beaten his friends and scored 125 points...two strikes, two spares..and the rest)...People were lining up to get his autograph and take pictures so I thought I may as well wait untill after he played...the second band "Cigar Stor Indians" were grweat, and as I sat in the back of the bar and ordered another drink, my friend asked.."Is that Morrissey behind us or another look alike?" And upon looking behing her..I said "No, thats actually Morrissey"....Moz was there with two women, a girl with short black/brown hair and an Asian woman. They seemed to be escorting him around...Boz was about to go play and Moz was being asked for autographs and pictures by the dartboard, so I rushed up to the stage.
Boz was great with his new band but the bass was not mic'ed well and was hardly audible. I spoke with the Female bassist later on in the evening whose fingers were blistered and bloodied and she said that the bolerama people were suppossed to supply her with an amp but haddnt so she had to play harder to be heard...in the middle of Boz's set I went back to the bar, bumping into Moz who was being escorted up by his lady friends to watch Boz...as I got to the bar again, Moz was being ushered out wth a pained expression on his face and brushed by me again...apparently he was attacked in the crowd by the stage and had to get out......So I went back to watch Boz who was great...they only did about 7 songs I think...and his wife and daughter were there...His daughter was Gorgeous!! Beautiful Blue Eyes, and growing up nicely...Boz sang one song about being a Rockabilly guy which may have been a cover song...it made the audience explode with applause that had been lacking the rest of the set. Then it was over...I said hello to Boz and then left. ...My only question now is, WHO WAS THAT Beautiful Photographer with the blonde hair and blue eyes and tan shirt in the front of the stage??????

AND NOW BACK TO PETER JENNINGS IN WASHINGTON...

It was most likely the song, "Rockabilly Guy" from the Polecats, in which Boz was a member. Fun song.
