morrissey concert australia circa 1990

hi all

i've got a question. morrissey was booked to perform in australia in 1990-1991(ish). i bought a ticket for the melbourne concert, which was cancelled. seems he did one concert in brisbane (capital of queensland) and that was that. sore throat or something, too sick to perform and he went home. does anyone know the real story? i've never seen the boy live (would die to) and this was the closest i've come (well nearly).....anyone know the story, anyone care enough to share?

It was the same deal in Atlanta that tour. They cancelled at the last minute due to sore throat.

and with Minneapolis in 97... the theater had to call every ticket holder 24 hours before the show and let them know. what an awful job!

now i havent seen him since 92
