Smiths songs live

If you could choose just a few Smiths songs to hear Moz sing live at the present, what would they be? Now, not necessarily your favorite Smiths song, but just the songs you would wanna hear live. My choice would be "That Joke Is'nt Funny Annymore," and "Rubber Ring."

"Reel Around The Fountain"

"Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me"

"Asleep"

I would love to hear "I wont share you"
and I would also love to hear the deep voice of a 41 year old morrissey attempt to sing Miserable Lie....just because I wonder if he could pull it off these days :)

Absolutely definately certainly without a doubt it would have to be some girls are bigger that others. Only it'd have to be the version with the extra verse - "From the shop floor to the castle door as obvious as snow, as if we didn't know..."

I hate to be "that guy"... but I believe the line is:

"On the shop floor there's a calendar, as obvious as snow, as if we didn't know."

Which is a reference to those pin-up calendars that you used to see in shops, garages and so-forth

Yes but I don't like that quite as much, I'd rather imagine a rather large shapely women like the 'it was only an 'opelss fancy gawn in the twinklin of an eye' woman and then Audrey head to foot in jewels... and it's not like he's gonna come round and sing what I tell him to anyhow.

You're probably right, but either way 'As obvious as snow,
> as if we didn't know." is glib genius.

I'm sorry at the thought of this I've just come.

Ahhh! To hear those dulcet tones warbling away to 'Money Changes Everything' and 'Oscillate Wildly' would be more or less miraculous!

Re: Smiths songs live at my house!

Do *all* the Smiths songs live at your house? I thought I had some living at my house, but I could be mistaken.

Re: Smiths songs live at my house!

If, on the .001% chance that Morrissey and Marr ever did a few songs together (for an encore of a Moz concert or something when they both happened to be in the same city at the time, for example) I think these three, in this order, would be amazing:

-Sheila Take A Bow
-Death Of A Disco Dancer
-What Difference Does It Make?

Imagine the demand for CDR's and MP3's if this ever happened??????
