in a age of cultural relativism and subjectivism,can we say morrissey as good as beethoven?

No, but as he was once quoted "Beethoven had HIS problems too." I think that's all the relevance there is on THIS subject! :)
 
i think whether morrissey is as good as beethooven is a perfectly valid and serious point to make.wasn't there a cultural debate recently surrounding dylan vs keats;morrison vs eliot.even chris smith, the culture secretary, said recently:"all distinction between high and low art is meaningless".

Do you know, have you heard or did you guess? When composers die they become decomposers. And that is very true for as sure as night follows day we shall all of us, one day, lay rotting in the earth.
