'Landing an interview with Boz Boorer (or the “Godfather of British Rockabilly” as he’s known amongst his peers, and fans) can be like winning the lottery these days. Everybody wants a piece of him, and there just aren’t enough hours in his day to satisfy all those music hacks, hopelessly fishing for lurid tales of life on the road with Morrissey.'

An interview with Martin 'Boz' Boorer

'drop a load of money off at the bank', eh? What's that all about?

I particularly liked this:

“Eventually I got my first guitar – a little four-string thing with plastic strings and a picture of the Beatles on the front. It cost me 10 pence (approx 20 cents) at a jumble sale..."

I wonder how much that little Beatles guitar would go for now on the
collector's market?

Anyway, thank you, Bodmin. I enjoyed the article.
