Listening to the album I am struck by the similarity between Jobriath's "Heartbeat" and "Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me".

Also by the notes...."Project Assistant - Jed 'No, Let me pay for it' Weitzmann"

It's not a bad album, it really isn't.

Finally got a copy at the weekend Unc but not yet got around to listening to all of it.
I tend not to like a lot of the bands that Moz champions. There are the odd exceptions such as Pony Club,Angelic Upstarts and Cockney Rejects but I loved the latter two before the advent of The Smiths.

However I'm with him on Jobriath.Gteat stuff.

Incidentally I had an e mail from The Boorers and the Boz single is currently being pressed......in Japan

I was pleasantly surprised! He was quite a musician, and the music is a lot "beefier" than I expected. The album deserves repeated playing.
