Dublin hotels(can anyone recommand a half decent one)

actually they are all expensive because (relatively speaking) there aren't many around. And also, its christmas time so the rates are higher. The one i stayed in was awful as I did not get any sleep because of traffic and the restaurant with music downstairs. it was 100 m from Stephens Green. In fact I thought Dublin wasn't all that great anyway.

I stayed at the Mespil which was very decent, great location and not too pricey for two people.

Otherwise try lastminute.com for cheap deals on good hotels but try to read reviews on some of the ones they offer coz Dublin hotels are notoriously hit and miss. I usually stay with family so didn't realise this till I decided to take a romantic break....and ignore the other post - Dublin is great!
