Well, in that I turn up every now and again and you're just always here like the tedious freak that you are.
Uh oh...you mentioned the name : George Bray? Oh, the things I could tell you about him. First of all, he screwed me over. I sent him some books (out of print) that he wanted in exchange for some books I had requested in the UK, because we didn't have them. I sent out the books, and never heard back from him again. Then, after flirting with me on the phone, after two weeks he calls to tell me "I'm married...and I have a little girl". George cannot deny this. But, it's all in the past, water under the bridge and all that. Just be careful.

So, first he screws you over.
Then, he flirts with you on the phone? And you let this go on for 2 weeks conveniently forgetting that he had screwed you over?
This reeks of desperation.
And you know full well that the BBC hoax I posted up was very obviously a hoax meant in good humour, as opposed to a malicious lie masquerading as fact. And yes there is a fucking difference.

If it were anyone else but me, I'd wonder too. Thankfully I know that that isn't the case.

Hold up. I was so amazed to see his NAME on the board; I was too rattled to explain this whole situation. Now, this is what happened. This happened a few years ago. First of all, we met in the chat room, and yes, he seemed to good to be true. In case you haven't noticed, most American males do not read or write poetry. I still have letters (snail mail) from him. He would call me usually once a day, and I was really very happy about it. Then he asked me if I could locate some books for him. He gave me a complete list. I told him I would try to find them. Then I said, well since you're getting these books from me, there are some books I'd love from you, since they're only available in the UK. I told him what I wanted, and he agreed. So, I stupidly sent the parcel. Then I never heard from him again. I kept badgering him about the books I was owed, and he said he had them, and he would "send them today". Well, that day never came. I was pissed off because sending those books cost a lot of money; and he had made a promise to me. I even called his HOME and explained the whole fracas to his wife and she was FURIOUS with him. For 1. going behind her back 2. not keeping a promise. She was obviously upset with me as well. I told his wife I had absolutely no idea he was married with a child. In any case, he kept telling me he didn't love his wife, even though (to him) she looked just like Patsy Kensit. But unless he's done something else to someone, I dont know what else I can say to you. And, I am not desperate in the least. My bf and I live together, and I have no use for twats like George. The End.

i think i remember him....
unless i'm confusing him with somebody else because i'm just absolutely shitty with names and can't even tell you the name of the apartment complex across the street from me which i've lived near for 4 years, but i remember some guy who would respond to my journal and flirt with me...but he had his own journal where he talked about having a wife he didn't love, and i remember saying something underhanded about it because that's just kinda tacky....either put up or shut up...but yes, i think that i did remember that he had to go through there and delete all of his journal entries because he said that his wife had discovered the website.
...but he didn't say how she discovered it.
