My guess is the haters of America on this board will hate what Kerry does in foreign policy as well, though, so it would likely turn out that I'll still be defending the president around here (whomever he turns out to be) next year and beyond. I always stand up or America against the shitters. America's the greatest country on God's green earth!

You seriously need to read the book "imperial Hubris" it is written by an insider who happens to have very similar views to your own regarding Afghanistan etc. You will be pursuaded, if not at least challenged by "one of your own" regarding the region etc. Its a very good read and I suspect it will change your mind or at least give you consideration regarding your own position. Maybe take a possible alternate justification for why you support Bush etc. very good stuff, well written. However, I disagree with the thesis of the book. I can not argue with most of the facts and also that it happens to be a nice literary work. enjoy it! and yes you are correct. The second i learn that Kerry is the new President elect tomorrow i will denounce him as an Imperialist and terrorist like Bush. But, hey at least i admitt to that immediately! think of it this way. If Bush wins the election you will have one less person to compete with in the "free market" of America cause i will be gone. Also, there is a decent chance you may not be posting here in the next year becuase you may be drafted!! yikes! lets hope not though. bye bye
