Drudge has reported extensively about all the Bush lawn signs Democrats steal, and about the ALF-CIO orchestrated attacks on Bush campaign headquarters across the country in recent weeks (from storming into the buildings to trash them, to even firing bullets at their windows).

Now we have another disturbing story revealing how much many Democrats despise the rights of those they disagree with.

Michael Moore's movie played freely across the country, with those who see it as a bunch of lies choosing to respond in the marketplace of ideas rather than with threats of violence against movie theaters and movegoers.

But don't you dare try and screen a movie that has negative things to say about John Kerry. Oh no, that can't be allowed. Democrats must make threats of violence to shut that down.

I must say I was sympathetic to Democrats over the Sinclaire Broadcasting plans to televise "Stolen Honor". However, now that I see we're not even allowed to see the movie in a theater, I have changed my mind. I demand to see the movie Democrat thugs want so desperately to silence.

Read for yourselves about the illiberal liberals:

Anti-Kerry Film Showing Canceled

October 19, 2004 — A politically motivated film furor hit Jenkintown Tuesday night. Supporters of George Bush and John Kerry went nose to nose and neither side had any intention of backing down.

Clinton to Campaign for Kerry in Philadelphia
VIDEO: Dann Cuellar reports

Nerves are fraying at the edges, and there are still two weeks before Election Day.

The emotion of this politically charged presidential election got the best of some people. People who came out to see the anti-Kerry film, "Stolen Honor" were already upset that management of the Baederwood Theater cancelled the showing after threats of civil disturbances. Ultimately the anger reached a higher level when Bush supporters clashed with Kerry supporters.

Dan Sweeney/SOMERTON:

"Did you see what he said in the senate? Did you see that?"
Bill Perry/LEVITOWN, PENNSYLVANIA:

"If you'd shut your mouth we wouldn't be arguing (slur)."
Sweeney: "What (slur)?"
Perry: "Give yourself a try. Come on. Hey. Hey. Hey coolaid."

Abington police had to move in several times to keep ardent Kerry and Bush supporters from coming to blows. This after the documentary "Stolen Honor" which was to debut to a sellout crowd of 600 people was cancelled."

Joanne Dalbey/WARRINGTON, PENNSYLVANIA:

"It denied me the right as an American citizen to see a movie that every American should have the right to see."
Ryan Sweeney/SOMERTON:

"I think it's terrible, I think it's ridiculous that they're gonna shut this down and at the same time they're gonna show Michael Moore the day before the election."
The producer of the film blames Kerry operatives for shutting down the showing of the film.
Carlton Sherwood/FILM PRODUCER:

"The underhanded coercion and intimidation tactics of John Kerry, here's my reaction, what is John Kerry so afraid of with this documentary?"
Kerry supporters were pleased the showing of the film had been cancelled.
Bob Fields/READING, PENNSYLVANIA:

"We don't believe it's an honest movie. Doesn't honestly state the positions of what he did."
"Have You Seen The Movie?"
"No, I don't I have not."

Once again, police had their hands full...
"Go back to Hollywood and Michael Moore, go ahead."
"I live In Levittown fool. I'll stay here as long as I want to."

"You think so?"

"I know so."

"You gotta get a lot more weight to keep up with me son."

"You think so?"

"Yeah, I'll knock you right on your butt pal."

Incidentally the Kerry campaign claims they hadn't anything to do with the movie not being shown here. Refunds were given to those who had bought tickets and the producers gave out DVD copies of the film for them to watch at home.

You've really lost it.

My god, the horror when one movie is shut down-- in the hotbed of Jenkintown!

Once again, in the tunnel vision of our favorite Republican "Reptile", the actions of a few people constitute a directed effort by the Democratic Party to discredit Bush and his supporters. Uh-huh. Whatever. Like it would be hard to scour the web and find examples of intolerant Republicans doing the same thing.

Oh, wait, I don't have to scour the web. I can think of one big example off the top of my head-- New York City during the RNC convention, when protesters were pushed around and silenced, in many cases by Bush's favorite past-time-- pre-emptive strikes! That's right, some people were actually entrapped by police before they had a chance to say a single word. All of them-- actual protesters or not-- were then herded to "Guantanamo on the Hudson" where they were kept in rank conditions for hours on end, in many cases having their basic civil rights violated. And in that instance there was actually a much stronger connection to the RNC, which no doubt directed or at least had a big say in the city's security forces.

Outside New York, in a lot of areas, your fine, upstanding Republican government actually creates cages to house protesters. But it's the Democrats who are thugs!

Everywhere you go, if anyone dares to disagree with His Holiness George W. Bush, they are shouted down with cries of "America hater!", "Terrorist sympathizer!", "Traitor!", etc. But it's the Democrats who are thugs!

Led by moral crusader John Ashcroft, the FBI and other organizations have greater access to and authority over our personal lives than ever before, and there are innumerable cases on the books where dissenters have actually had their privacy invaded-- for disagreeing with the President! But it's the Democrats who are thugs!

What have you been smoking when all of the sudden the Democrats are the ones playing dirty? Democrats are wusses and always have been. The Republicans are the party of dirty tactics. Christ, the party bosses probably sound like Sean Connery in "The Untouchables". "One of them brings a knife, you bring a gun! That's the Republican way!" We're talking about the party of Watergate, Willie Horton, Monicagate, Whitewater, "Al Gore says he invented the Internet", Swift Boat Veterans For Truth, and on and on. But it's the Democrats who are thugs!

Politics are nasty on both sides. Don't pretend the Republicans aren't guilty. Anyone with even a half-decent grasp of the political scene knows that in terms of suppressing discourse and spreading lies the Republicans are using RPGs while the Democrats are flinging books of lit matches.

Clinton lied about a blowjob and got impeached. Bush lied about the reasons to go to war, and he might win re-election. That tells you just about all you need to know about which party is made up of lions and which of lambs.

Yet again you are holding the Democrats up to a standard your own party could never possibly reach. Truly funny.

And I love how you start off by quoting Matt Drudge. I mean, come on-- Matt Drudge? That would be like a Democrat leading off with "I read in Doonesbury the other day..." You're starting to sound like either Ari Fleischer or the Iraqi Minister of Information, take your pick.

Of course Loafing Oaf's lost it. He's from Cleveland, the poorest city in the US.

So you don't care if Democrats trample on freedom of speech in Jenkintown?

Nowhere in your long message did you use one sentence to condemn the anti-free speech thuggery fromt eh story I posted.

Hardly a few. There is a story every day about Democrat thuggery.

I don't see Kerry campaign headquarters being shot up with guns. I don't see theaters showing Democrat films being threatened with violence.

Nonsense. There were thousands of protestors in NYC for the Republican convention who protested peacefully. I have yet to hear of a single incident where someone who was protesting within the law was silenced in NYC during that convention. If there was an anti-Bush protestor in NYC who abided all laws to peacefully protest and was silenced, I would back that person 100%. I have yet to hear of such a person, and you provided zero evidence.

It's funny how you fail to mention the CAGES used at the Democrat convention in Boston.

Nonsense.

That's funny. I see and hear the Bush haters all the time. They haven't been silenced. they just don't have any tolerance for others using their freedom of speech to attack them back.

What I was talking about is a movie theater that was unable to screen a political movie due to threats of violence from Kerry supporters.

> What have you been smoking when all of the sudden the Democrats are the
> ones playing dirty? Democrats are wusses and always have been.

Wusses? I remember being personally pushed around by Democrats when I went to a Ralph Nader speech before the 2000 election. I didn't even support Nader, but I just wanted to hear the guy say what was on his mind. Apparently that's not allowed to Democrats. Of course when Gore came to town to speak, no one but his shill were allowed in.

This year the anti-choice Demcorats had lawyers yank Nader from my ballot. That's why I no longer call that party the DEMOCRATIC party. I call them the Democrat party. There's no evidence the Democratic party supports democracy, so they have no right to that name. Yes, I do read on Drudge every day how Democrats are engaging in voter fraud. Teh most recent example was the NAACP being involved in giving crack cocaine to someone who registered fake people.

> And I love how you start off by quoting Matt Drudge. I mean, come on--
> Matt Drudge?

They weren't Matt Drudge stories. Most of the content on Drudge is links to news stories from other news organizations.

Re: Of course Loafing Oaf's lost it. He's from Cleveland, the poorest city in the US.

Well, yeah, Cleveland is a completely Democrat city, what do you expect? It's so hardcore Democrat here my Democrat congresswoman is running unopposed. Socialist Dennis Kucinich was once the mayor of Cleveland and to this day the city hasn't recovered from that bungled leadership. That's why most people who SAY they live in Cleveland don't actually live there, but rather in the Greater Cleveland area, and simply pretend they live in Cleveland for emotional reasons. There's actually very little housing in the city of Cleveland itself, outside of the slums. I live in the the nice city of Cleveland Heights, which wins awards as one of the most succesfully integrated places in the nation. My parents reside in nice city of Shaker Heights, which is one of the finest suburbs in the world. Northeast Ohio is nice, Cleveland itself is not. Only the poor live in the city of Cleveland, and I feel sorry for them. I consider it child abuse to send a kid to the Democrat-run Cleveland public schools. That's why the poor of Cleveland actually supported school vouchers while white liberals came in from outside the city to protest it.
