Does Morrissey post messages on this site?

I'm not sure, but I think that Morrissey was posting here last week under the name "Morrissey's Spirit". He was talking to Colleen and another girl.

Moz Impersonators?

Well "morrissey's spirit" posted this

Well, it's my pleasure; I'm glad to do it. Some unsolicited advice, Colleen: I know things seem depressing and hopeless sometimes, really I do. But I've found that the key to sanity in this crazy life in this -- remember this, and I'm serious -- life is 85% what YOU make it, directly. Yes, a plane could crash into your house and so on, but the direction your life takes is determined by YOU. As simple as it sounds, here's the key: You make up your mind to do something, and then you DO IT. You let nothing stop you. Yes, it's easy to say (whatever it is!, oh, I can't do it, it's too difficult, I just can't, I should just give up, blah, blah, blah. DON'T DO THIS! Follow through, no matter what, and the world is yours.

I know it.

Be well.

It is very morrissey, either a very good impersonater or morrissey himself

"life is 85% what YOU make it"

Morrissey would never say that. Anyone who thinks he would hasn't been listening to him for the last 20 years. That's just sentimental nonsense.

This could very well be Morrissey since if it were Charlie Brown he would have said 89% and not 85.

nah, i don't think so.

but speaking of morrissey and his snoopiness, sometimes i even get the feeling that he reads his snail mail!

Ha! It's possible, of course. But someone asked "Morrissey's Spirit" right off if he was Charlie, and he said, "No, but some people think I am" or words to that effect. Referencing the KROQ brouhaha.

Besides, would a roadie have such supreme self-confidence that he would give someone advice on how to succeed in life?

I once saw him give out a can of guinness!

Re: He sure does. Who do you think "Proper" REALLY is?

Please. It's not Proper, that's for sure.

I thought it was a female too (?) until Morrissey's Spirit comes back, we shall never know. Whoever they were, they were quite nice.

Danny's quite bright as well!

Absolutely not!

Colleen, you think Morrissey's Spirit is a woman? Or am I misunderstanding you. Morrissey's Spirit said in one post (to Irene), "I am a gentleman, literally."

It may be wishful thinking on my part, but MS just seemed to give off a Morrissey vibe. And he *did* say, "No more VIP passes for you, ever" so it would seem to be at least someone in Mozzer's circle.

Whew, I'm giving this way too much thought...

Brennan- well, unfortunately I missed that post to Irene. And he was quite nice to me. Do you know how I could find those past posts again? I'd appreciate it. Now I want to look at them more closely, you understand. Cheers:)

Brennan, I read it twice, and you're right..it's no woman. Could it possibly be.....?

Colleen I doubt it very much, the spelling was too Americanised.
He spelt 'centre' as 'center', for one thing. He also mis-spelt some words if I recall.

yeah, i seriously doubt it was morrissey. not that i could specifically identify him from a line-up, but i'm sure he could leave some obvious clues that i would know it was him....that is, if he was brave enough to do it.

assuming morrissey does all his communication via fax, i highly doubt he responds to messages on the internet.

I did hear a rumor once that he emailed Linder all the time. But who knows?
