Pavement liner notes

Hello everyone. This has probably been posted at another time by someone else, so forgive me if this is redundant. I just figured you all might be interested in this little tidbit. In the liner notes to Pavement's first album, Slanted and Enchanted, there's a little drawing of runes or something. Underneath that are the words, in quotes, "im the end of the family line." I thought that was kinda cool, seeing how Pavement sound far different from Morrissey's solo work through 1992, when the record was released. Oh well.

They must be fans because once when they were on MTV they started singing "The More you Ignore Me, The Closer I Get" during the interview (this was back when the song was new).
