Has Morrissey ever been arrested?

let me get this one Stick. . .
well this is off subject. but here it goes.

a person walking down a street shooting his gun all around may say the same thing, "i didn't murder anyone."

well not this time at least. I sure hope walking down the street shooting a gun is a criminal act and not a misdemeanor. Driving drunk could kill. I think those in power or those who influence power, believe you have to stop it before it happens. that's the point of the law.
now i do think, for my sake, the drinking limit is too low. but i guess everyone has different tolerances and i have to accept it. because we live in this freaking society and we bow down to our leaders--political, religious (for all you weak ones in the audience), and various mass-produced, buy-at-your-local-supermarket, packaged, role models--to tell us what is right and wrong and we have to follow them or we go to jail, hell, or not in with the cool crowd (otherwise known as the mainstream. sounds creepy i know. just buckle up). and for the most part, after years of pounding these artificial laws and social rules into this world (and calling it humanity), it is almost inherent with-in us. well actually it's all a learned trait. the religious folks will make you believe it's with-in us. now by all means, if your will wills it, go take a stroll shooting off your gun. to hell with civiliazation!! down with society!!--to the overman! But you'll be taken in and probably pay a visit to the psychiatric ward before they put you in jail for 'inhumane' behaviour.

so the drunk driving ticket is fully understandable becasue. . .well. . . this is society. . .kind of like a social club in which to be a free member you need to follow the rules. When you think about it, it sucks. . .but while the club is standing and you're in it, a lot fo the basic rules make sense (except for the hundreds of rules/laws set to exploit people, animals and natural resources).
Well at least that's what Nietszche would say. except he wouldn't find any sense in any of it.

He was detained on entry because he either didn't have his passport, or they didn't believe it. Either way, it had something to do with the U.S.' rampant crusade against terrorism.

He was detained for several hours in a private cell.

wow...that's a pretty light sentence.

there's a guy i work with who had an accident while driving drunk (OK, not the same thing as failing the breathyliser), but he's had to go on probation for 2 years, has to do several hours of community service, has had to go to AA or similar classes for drinking, had his license suspended and had to pay money to get it back, and his insurance premiums skyrocketed afterwards.

in Texas, however, there is a rich person loophole. if you pay a certain amount of money to the tune of a few thousand dollars, you can have it expunged from your records.

He overspeeds and he never gets pulled over...

Morrissey's Kill Uncle tour started in Dublin in April of 1991. I wonder what he was doing in Los Angeles, certainly not recording Your Arsenal. I would understand him at an eatery and not paying since his people might do it. And why would he eat alone?

It was nice seeing the words SAN FERNANDO. Ahh... San Fernando you are missed.

Re: Hey Abrahan!!!

hello to you!

I have been studying my bootleg shows on www.passionsjustlikemine.com
