What's the problem with broken/hector?
Have you met him ever?
Anyway what I really wanted to ask is this.. What happened with the Kings Road fiasco..I saw it mentioned on the main board but as I've never been in the chatroom don't know what they are going on about?
Was Morrissey meant to be answering questions or something, but there was no reply.
Please enlighten me further.
Do you go in the chatroom?
If so, how do you rate it?

Hello! Glad to meet someone who actually knows who Ted Hughes is To answer your first question regarding broken/hectorr- we actually used to get on quite well until I unfortunately made a remark about him (and I was JOKING). I have apologized many times to him to no avail, and with the way he has been treating me lately, he can f*** right off-I said I was sorry, and that should be enough, but now he has to dig into my character, very immature. Your second question- this whole incident is very puzzling. There's a reporter (freelance) named Kevin Marriman. Both Grim and GU are familiar with him, so they might know more about this. One afternoon in the chatroom, Kevin came in and said he was glad we were all there, because this was the chance of a LIFETIME- he said he was interviewing Morrissey, and Morrissey had grudgingly agreed to go to Morrissey.solo.com and go into the chat and answer any of our questions that he would choose to answer. (evidentally Kevin was doing the typing and relating what Morrissey was supposedly saying). Of course, people always impersonate Morrissey on the site, and no one believed Kevin, and it was a general mess, people asking joking questions, etc- not taking it seriously. Kevin then said, "You are all missing the chance of a lifetime, one you'll never get again. I really have Moz with me, we're drinking wine, and he has grudgingly agreed to answer some of your questions so please don't waste time and start asking relevant questions." Then more people started asking *real* questions- regarding the tour, the disappearance of Alain, etc. Moz still refused to answer. Kevin said, "Moz is saying that the "veneer is wearing very thin, very thin, and this was just as he expected it to be." Finally, Kevin just said, "He refuses to answer or listen to any more questions. You have blown the chance of a lifetime" and he left. I emailed David Tseng and informed him of the whole incident, and he emailed me back, and said that Kevin had emailed HIM and even left a contact number for proof that Moz was really there that day. David said he called the number, and spoke to Kevin and it was the real deal. A few weeks afterwards, Kevin comes in again as Kings Road. He said, "Look, Moz has agreed to give you all a second chance but we're going to do it in a different format. Please email the questions you would like to ask Morrissey, and they will be forwarded to him." He left an email address, which I can give you if you want, and I emailed some questions and a few other people in the room did so as well. I received an email from Sanctuary, thanking me for my response. So did someone else I know here. But, so far, unless GU or Grim know anything more than I do, nothing has been done. Yes, I do go into the chatroom. I have my own bookselling business at home, so I can usually do what I want, when I want. I don't make a great deal of money, but I enjoy what I do (collect and sell first editions and rare books) so that's all that matters to me. When I know certain people are in the chat, I go in there, and when I get bored I go in there. I've been visiting that chatroom since 1997 - and it's progressively gotten worse, and by worse, I mean, people viciously fighting with one another, people trying to one up each other, people impersonating others (get your name registered). To me, it's a mess right now, and I think Archibald here mentioned that we should ALL have registered names, so that trolls can't hide behind a fake name and cause problems. MOST of the time, the chat is wonderful. I have no problems with it. (Of course, I *know* Hectorr is going to disagree with me- he has this bizarre notion that I am trying to make people *like* me which is not true at ALL. )It's only a sad person ( whom I considered a good friend at one point ) trying to make things miserable for everyone else. On the whole though, it's fine. Sometimes it's good to go in for a second and see how people are behaving to one another. It usually tells you if there's trouble or not, or if everything is going fine. Just register your name, that's the only advice I have. And if you have problems with a person, you can always put them on IGNORE. I hope I've answered all of your questions to your satisfaction! Cheers!

Thanks very much for that Colleen. Very informative.
How long ago was this incident with Kevin Marriman and the supposed interview?
I would be grateful for the e-mail address if you don't mind.
Sorry to hear about you and broken/hector, its a pity when something like that happens.
You have really taken time to answer me fully and I do appreciate that.
Speak to you soon.

No problem! Hmmm, this incident was maybe a little over a month or so. Here's Kev's email address. [email protected] Regarding hectorr/broken, yes, it is a pity. I did consider him a friend. Hope I answered all of your questions! Cheers!
