Morrissey in The Nosebleeds?

I've just been reading through the new edition of Goddard's book. At the start he mentions several songs that Morrissey wrote pre-Smiths, like "I Get Nervous" and "Peppermint Heaven". I knew Moz sang with the Nosebleeds for a bit, but I don't really know much about the band and this is the first time I've heard the songs mentioned.

I doubt if there's any boots of these songs online (are there?), but does anyone know if the lyrics are posted anywhere? Thanks!

nobody on this website heard this songs
Maybe someone in a middle of england got a recording of one of their gigs but from what i know this songs are lost in the limb.
But well one of the ex Nosebleeds members could have something but sure morrissey will pay him a fortune for keep it secret

The line up with Morrrissey and Billy Duffy never made any official recordings, they did re-hash the bands original material, eg 'Ain't bin to no music school'/'Fascist pigs', some tapes may exist from these sessions, I would imgine Morrissey would have put his own ideas forward. Also they did play 2 gigs, one in support of Magazine, but that's the only significant thing they did before they split in 78.

For what it's worth the original line up also included Vini Reilly.

Reckon these songs are filed under "lost classics" then? What interested me was Goddard's naming the songs, if they have titles then the lyrics must be out there somewhere... I'm surprised they're not on ebay, maybe I should have a look!

Thanks guys!

Kinnel Tommy (not Moz)

here's a pre-Moz single, although only credited to Ed Banger.
