Do we have Mikey V. Farrell to thank for HSiN? live

I haven't heard the new live version of 'How Soon is Now?' as played at Reading and Leeds, but I was wondering if the keyboards of the 'man of many parts', Mikey V. Farrell make it possible to do that song now whereas, perhaps before it didn't work with just guitars and drums? It seems to me that the recorded version uses synths quite obviously. What say thee?

The Keyboards certainly beef it up a bit, it's the best song I've ever seen him do live.

To a certain extent Tingle you're right, although the two guitars make up the main bulk of the sound....and very good it is too. I was very impressed by the new guitarist Jesse @ the Leeds festival, no dis-respect to Alain who can actually write great songs (no mean feat). Mr Mikey V. Farrell does indeed fill in the missing elements that may have made HSIN hard to perform live before....but you should hear the vocal, he's pretty good as well you know!

After HSIN the set went downhill fast. It was excellent.
