Morrissey recorded a song called oh well, i'll never learn - i presume it was around the time of vinni reilly's influence as the guitars on the song sound VERY VERY similar to the durutti column's recording with Morrissey singing I know very well how I got my name. However, it may also be Mark Nevin's influence.

Can anyone give more information about the circumstances around this track ? It's available via mp3 audio file format from a couple of sites.

It was a 1988 b-side to Suedehead, only available on the CD release. It was co-written by Stephen Street, and the guitar playing is by Reilly. Hence its similarity to "I know very well how I got my name".
