WHO´S KILLING POP MUSIC?
I don´t believe in pop music anymore
Once it saved my life
But it´s really let me down
And i just can´t help thinking about
All those bands that spend more time
Rehearsing the dancesteps
Than playing the songs
What became of passion and feeling?
Is good taste really something forever gone?
Yes, they´re the ones always travelling
In big limousines
Accompanied by beautiful
long-legged, silicone-breasted girls
as other bands that still
believe in “real” songs
just have to call it a day
because every record company says:
“well sorry guys, you´re just not commercial enough,
why don´t you try with a different sound,
some keyboards? A dance rhythm?”

And the music press?
They just make me laugh
They get all their records for free
But hardly bother listening to them
“And this one?, well this one is quite good actually
But for God´s sake, look what clothes!,
I think i´ll give it a 4 out of 10
And this? Well this is crap i admit it
But the singer is a good friend of mine so
What about ´record of the month´?”
