Why is all the artwork on Morrisseys new releases such CRAP?

Its pretty amazing that all these singles (and the LP) look like they were done with someone with a crap digital camera and a few minutes of photoshop instruction. This coming from someone who ruled the roost when it came to sleeve design. Sad.....
