No fights
just a few ruffians making their way to the front after The Man came on.

Were you there?
I was there with my two daughters aged 12 and 10.
There was nothing to scare either of them, the younger spending most of the night safely on my back or shoulders!
The Goat.
I was there and I can assure you that this was a very peaceful gig. Like any event with thousands of people at it I am sure one or two people had crossed words but as a scouser in manchester I can say that this was a joy from start to finish.
If you want to stir up something then there was a fight at the MEN gig! I saw it. but why should anyone care. little things happen when you cram thousands of people in to one place at one time.

No. Why'd say that?

Did you manage to get close to the stage?
Because you seem to be obsessed with Moz having racism and violence at his gigs.
The NME said the backlash would start in October (in a jokey way of course! But we all know that it's gonna happen sometimes soon) so I thought that you may have been trying to get some "inside" news instead of just making it up like they usually do.
r u all havin a laugh. i was right by the front of the stage wen he came on and all these drunken lads started screamin an fightin wiv each other, and where gonna 'do each other in' apparently. how do i know? cos i ended up arguin wiv one who dosent mind hittin a girl.

no god no have never read nme apart from when moz has been on the cover!
It was in the letters as someone wrote in slagging off Moz. The editor replied saying that the backlash was due to start in October so he told them to write back again then. Tossers.

what backlash god why can't they give him a break, he's only been back a while. no wonder it took he such a long time.
I think they were trying to be funny when they said it but I can really seeing happening quite soon.
