13th anniversary of that concert!

Anyone with particular memories of that night?

I remember meeting Moz in the foyer of Wembley Hilton that afternoon - As he signed a football ticket of mine, Linder was snapping away. I think one of the pictures is published in Morrissey Shot.

As for the gig - a great night. Remember the mic not working during the start of "Interesting Drug". I recall "Playboys", "Mute Witness", "Everyday is Like Sunday", "That's Entertainment" and "Yes, I am Blind" as being particular highlights.

Anyone remember the support act?? Phranc had suffered a bereavement and was replaced by Melissa Ferrick. He was on the credits for her album released a little while later.

Aww brilliant days, I wasn't at the London gig but I was at Blackburn.
I missed the support act so don't know if by then Phranc had returned, sadly I was to interested in going to the bar (well I wasn't driving) not like the 2002 gig at the very same venue.
I was down at the front (lefthand side as you looked to it) & my most magical moment was when Moz did his own version of 'That's Entertainment' having been a Jam fan I sang along to every word obviously not in tandem as Moz changed the words round, as is Moz's way, hee hee.
I've still got the t-shirt I bought outside the gig (how sad is that? But just hate to part with it!). I've lost my ticket but somehow retained the flyer for the gig.

Great night.I think there was a tube strike on ?.Travelled in from Cambridge.Met a fantastic girl called Nadine who was studying at Southampton.

Missed the last train back to Kings Cross.Slept in a mecahnical digger and was wakened by a policeman the following morning.

Travelled back into Kings Cross on the first train and bought a bottle of Thunderbird for the journey home.Brilliant !
