when, when, when???

were the MEN winding us up?

Also, is there anyone out there who finds Morrissey's sentiments on "Teenage Dad On His Estate" totally at odds with his mocking of "Dagenham Dave" and all things essex-boy. Personally, I'm stuck in the rat-race and I find it a bit offensive that someone with Mozzer's millions is looking down on those that have to participate in it (whilst slagging off those of us who can't stand the teenage dad with his pramface girlfriend, glued-on baseball cap, modified citroen saxo and anti-social behaviour order).

I suppose this is called challenging the audience.

Maybe he's just thinking about the irony of expectations? Here's someone who should be miserable but isn't, compared to someone who has plenty but isn't happy. Though the mention of methadone doesn't exactly convey a portrait of cheerful poverty, does it?

I think it's just about people's tendency to scapegoat the poorest and most vulnerable instead of concentrating on their own deficiencies.

You can see it all over the Daily Mail every day.

I'll take your word for it about the daily mail (i've never read it), but i still think it's just Moz doing what he does best - contradicting himself.
But he does it on purpose because, as i said, he's an old rascal.
