If you're Stateside may i strongly advise you GO see this band, their fab new album "Weightlifting" is out at the end of August in the US and Canada. Shamefully no UK deal yet because they're having the same problems as Moz did, i guess is the reality of the image over talent obsessed music biz. Their last album "A Happy Pocket" came out in 1996 i believe. Quite a few of you will be familiar with the band already but if you're not go see them, you'll have another amazing band in your collection, great lyrics, great singer....very melodic, very Smiths-esque. You can get their albums pretty cheap on amazon etc...try "Cake" first but all three of their albums are worth investing in.

Anyway these are the tour dates for you very lucky Americans/Canadians....
tickets should be on sale almost immediately, try ticketmaster, or assuming you're familiar with buying tickets at these venues or in your city, you'll be able to figure out what to do.

sep 16 - washington, d.c. - 9:30 club
sep 19 - philadelphia, pa - trocadero
sep 20 - boston, ma - paradise
sep 23 - toronto, on - lee's palace
sep 26 - detroit, mi - magic stick
sep 27 - chicago, il - double door
oct 1 - seattle, wa - crocodile cafe
oct 5 - san francisco, ca - slim's
oct 8 - hollywood, ca - troubadour
oct 10 - san diego, ca - cane's
oct 11 - tempe, az - marquee theatre

regards
