Also from the NME this week, an interview with Tim Rice-Oxley of Keane:

NME:"Your album, Hopes And Fears thrashed Morrissey's latest in the album chart. Are you racked with guilt?"

T.R-O:"Ah yes.First thought:happy to be Number One. Second thought:oh god. I feel terrible about it. The other day our sound man, Ian, came over. The blood had drained from his face - although he always looks like that because he's from Aberdeen - and he was like, "Have you heard the news?" It turned out Morrissey's entire crew and entourage were staying at our hotel. One of them said, "Morrissey is really furious with you guys.." I had an image of Morrissey sitting in his Dracula's castle up in the Hollywood hills, like the emperor in Star Wars, preparing to blast us with electricity coming out of his fingers."
 
The image of M sitting in his Dracula's castle in the Hollywood Hills does strange things to me,mmm!
