Just looking at the notes in the CD - Accompanying the Jobriath song (Morning Star Ship) it mentions that Rhino Records are about to release a Jobriath anthology with liner notes penned by Morrissey. Not my cup of tea, but could be of interest.

Oh yes, I saw that too. I've only listened to 'Morning Star Ship' the once. I was surprised that it wasn't more radical, (like Ludus), than it actually was because as a character Jobriath seems to be very Avant Garde. When thinking of who the music sounded like, Neil Young came to mind actually.
I think the whole package is a lovely thing to have. I love hearing 'A Child Ill' at the end. I think as I've said before but I'm like Pavlov's dog and when I hear those words I expect Morrissey to appear because that's what we had before the bells at the Royal Albert Hall. Is the Sparks track somehow different to that on the CD? It sounded a little thin - like a demo. I'll have to compare and contrast it with the version on Kimono My House.
The sleeve design with its battered 7 inch single sleeve image is entirely appropriate. Oh very nice, very nice, ver-ry nice.
