Re: pppppp
so tell me, if you don't listen to english lyrics, how did you get roped into all of this?!?!

oops. um, i meant Loaded, the last album they made before Lou Reed went solo for the first time.

yes, you can't really tell, can ya? I do come here a lot. I keep up with what goes on. I own two books on him. I have a poster hanging on my wall. I own most of his studio release albums...barring some duplicate best of compilations...I cruise the web (of course, all I have to do is come around here now) looking for magazine articles on him. I've gone out of town to see his shows.
it really doesn't show does it?
i know for a fact that i do have a few, urm, "friends" who pop in and read this stuff and they tend to read what i say differently than a lot of people and it really changes up the relationship to this place quite a bit. suddenly, your happy little romp in the land of Mozziness is scrutinized, and you feel like having a bit of fun, and being sarcastic for sarcasm's sake, but sometimes people will take things the wrong way.
I think you have it confused with outright "yes sir" mindlessness. It's not mean to be critical of someone. It's concern, mostly. Not very well expressed, but it is.

i think it would be OK to say who you listened to. it's always fun to turn people onto things....even if I've never had much success at it. at least they will part way understand why i go unfazed when they start talking Blink 182. not that i'm a snob about such things, it;s just that they know my tastes are different.
it's not really like that. it's more like people know i've flown to see two of his concerts, yet they really don't know why. some things will never make any sense no matter how well you try to explain it, so it's better just to not say anything.

Actually, i think their last release got loads of critical acclaim.
I think I have said many times that I'm happy he's getting out there and doing things.

i do. and i said he needed to get off his booty and go get signed somewhere.

i don't know if it's as simple as that.
