Morrissey is 40 years old. How much longer do you honestly think he will continue to make music and tour. Is the end near?

Last time i checked tony Bennett was doing just fine.
Are you so young that you can not imagine being 40? Believe me once you hit 27/28 years of age, nothing seems impossible. You shouldn't confuse talent with being young. look at paul simon or robert smith, they still believe they have something to say. If you're implying that the reason why you like morrissey is because of his good looks, then perhaps you should stop listening to his music now. Beauty fades..

Default You are a pickled buffoon!

He'll perform until he's ready to make the last call you stupid moron. Do you really equate talent with age? If you do, i have a suggestion for your pimpled rifed with pus ass..see that keyboard you are tapping with? Take off the delete button and the alt button. Now take those two squares and poke them into your eyes and smash the freaking keyboard over your head until you are a flatliner. Better yet, staple your damn lips and then stick your head in a toaster and set it for ignorant you stupid piece of garbage!

    Moz rules!

From what I gather, he seems to be thoroughly enjoying himself now. I don't think he felt this past tour was a burden he was forced to carry. Therefore, my theory is that he will continue doing what brings him satisfaction and pleasure. I just hope to be around to witness further evidence of this.

You all are so hostile. I merely asked a simple question. I went to all of the United States shows and a number of the European shows as well so please do not question my love for Morrissey. I have read in numerous interviews him saying that he would never come to the point where he needed a can to walk, etc.
I just wanted to see how much longer everyonw thought he would continue to play music. I pray he goes on forever, but we all know that is not realistic.

What do you mean by this comment? Explain it to me as though I were a five year old.

    Default Question:

If life *is* a hill, at what point was Morrissey at his peak? Or has he even reached it yet? He could have forty more years left in him. A concept which may appear frightening to some, but intriguing to me. Can you imagine Moz at 80? He'd probably be rail thin, clutching a can of beer, and complaining about everything on TV. All the women in the old age home would want him...and probably most of the old men, too. One day, the Angel of Death would pay him a final visit, and the old home staff would unearth a coffee can filled with very large bills wrapped around explicit instructions that all $800,000,000 of his dollars be left to his cat, Fluffy, who passed away twenty years before.

I, for one, have not lost faith in our Mozzer. 'Tis true, he shall be up before dawn, and astonish us all...or noon, the very latest, I'm sure.

I think he'll continue for as long as people show up to see him.

Some people just shouldn't go on forever. Take the Stones. They should have stopped in the mid-70s, when their music started to suck. I just hope that if Morrissey ever does start to suck, he'll have the sense and pride to stop.

no doubt about the stones. in my personal opinion(as a person who couldnt hear herself think at her apt 4 blocks away from their last two concerts in madison,wi) they've gone from rolling stones to passing stones and if keith richards had any sense he'd give it up and let the willy st hippies smoke his ashes.
