I'm one of the rare people, it seems, that can like both Morrissey and The Cure at the SAME TIME. I'm glad to hear they are touring, hopefully they'll add another date besides the one you mentioned because I'm in San Francisco,, I read at one of their sites they were releasing a new album and accompanying it with a world tour. We'll wait and see.

I am another person who likes the cure and the smiths, i dont get what the hub-bub is about. Although they are very differnt types of bands they do put out a similar message and vibe. I read somewhere that morrissey and robert did not get along.....all i can say is "familiarity breeds contempt"

HOW TO GET BLOODFLOWERS BEFORE ITS RELEASE
If you download Napster, and keep doing searches jumping from server to server, you can get all the songs off the new album. I have them all, and to be honest, I really don't know what to think. It just doesn't sound like the Cure to me. There is one song, a pretty long one called Ego that's semi-Curish, but as far as it being the part of the Pornography-Disintegration-? trilogy...I don't think it measures up.

I'm sure at least someone will have a problem with downloading the album before release--I for one intend to buy the album anyway, if for no other reason than to free up space on my hard drive.

The Napster thing is just a way to play them right? So where are the songs from the new album at?

Their album will be released Feb.15th in the U.S and Japan. Europe will get it one the 14th. There are 9 tracks on the album and this album will end the Trilogy (Disinegration, Pornography, and now BloodFlowers). They will be on Hard Rock Live later this month or next I can't remember which. A lot of magazines will have interviews with Robert etc.......

Napster has a built in MP3 player, but it's also a community, kind of like using AOL Instant Messenger, except you can also download MP3's from other connected users' hard drives. If you keep searching, you're bound to come across someone who has songs from Bloodflowers. Try disconnecting and then reconnecting to change servers, and search at as many different servers as you can. It will work.

2- Watching Me Fall
3- Where The Birds Always Sing
4- Maybe Someday
5- The Last Day of Summer
6- There Is No If
7- Coming Up
8- The Loudest Sound
9- 39
10- Ego

Didn't the Cure say they were never going to Tour again, like back in '92? It seems like they said it before then too.
