I'm no literary genius, but there are alot of grammatical errors in I Have Forgiven HeyZeus

For example:

I was a good kid, I wouldn't do you no harm, (Double Negative)

Forgive me any pain, I may have brung to you, (Confusing Verb Tense)

Go back to Uni Mr. Morrissey and brush up on your grammatical skills please.

Ermmmm, I hate to point out the obvious but do you not think it might be deliberate?

BTW, I'm an American but I notice all the cool limeys say Uni

Deliberate or not, they are still grammatical errors that no intellectual would ever publish.

IT IS A SONG, IT IS ART, GRAMMAR TAKES A BACKSEAT. F##K OFF!!

I see we meet again Steinbeck. Shouldn't you be off the hills somewhere writing about poor farmers?

Re: Deliberate or not, they are still grammatical errors that no intellectual would ever publish.

Unless said intellectual were only seven or so.

I thought you were being ironic, but then realised you're American, so obviously you're not. You are part of the intellectual royalty section of fanbase I don't like. It's false, transparent and makes me sick

Re: Is it deliberate??

I'm sure Morrissey knows better. He's probably using the poor grammar to show that only an uneducated person could actually believe in Jesus and all that religious nonsense.

Because, obviously, faith is the only refuge for those who can't understand logic.

oops, you may have been too young, but I digress....Morrissey's double-negative-isms have been around since the Smiths. That's part of what makes him a poetic, literary genius, in my book, anyway!
