Lets not forget, it isnt only us troops:

I think it is wrong to judge either country, by a few moronic soldiers.

i think it is right to judge, if those countries came to stop torture, broke international laws for that etc. etc. if u.s. troups arrest you you should be aware that those who like to kill for what they call justice dont care about you AT ALL. if there werent pictures taken by these complete nazis, the u.s. officials would have hidden it. be sure.

I think the pictures of rapes are fake - the men aren't wearing desert fatigues - but the rest are disgusting. How hard is it to grasp the idea that when you are supposedly fighting a war to bring liberty and freedom to a country, the first thing you should do is be sure not to violate anyone's human rights?

What may be worse is that mother.f.ucker Bush's lame response "Oh I'm so shocked..." after his administration's goons pressured CBS to hold off showing these photos until after Falluja calmed down. The man gets up every day and pisses on the Constitution.

I just want to wring someone's neck. But I'm not sure where to begin.
Is this the mentality of our soldiers, generals, or bush?

I've got an old Tshirt somewhere that says - Kirk and Spock for president/vice president. That may not be such a bad idea after all.

I agree with that. The pictures of "soldiers" near the bottom of the page show them in green BDU's with black (not tan) foot gear...and the shoes aren't even boots..they're like dress shoes or something.

Plus, if you look at the "60 Minutes" graphic superimposed on some of the "screen captures" you can see what looks like a very shoddy removal of background white. The CBS eyes look real enough, but how hard is it to find a decent transparent CBS graphic on the internet? Not very. The pictures with the same male and female soldiers smiling and pointing look like the only real shots...not that those aren't shameful enough.

People should keep the following in mind: The U.S. armed forces are not bastions of morality. Even though enlisted soldiers take an oath to uphold the U.S. Constitution, it's really quite dismaying how incompletely this philosophy pervades the day to day mindsets of U.S. soliders. When I served (10 years ago), I found the whole gamut of crimes being committed by people sworn to uphold the laws of their land--everything from shoplifting, drug use, and adultery to assaults, murder, and espionage...and by no means were these illegal activities limited to enlisted personnel. Hell...one of the basic tenets of Army training was "If you ain't cheatin', you ain't tryin'"

"Those who wish to hurt you work within the law" is not an impossibility or even a rarity.

"I'm just passing through here...on my way to someplace civilised and...maybe, I'll even arrive"
