nme: is it true you are writing your autobiography?

moz: yes, it will bring england to its very foundations

nme: are you doing it all yourself?

moz: (splutters) Yes, i'm not really going to hire an old
melody maker journalist to help me find the dictionary

nme: when will it be out?

moz: too soon-for some people

Pishing my pants! Imagine asking Moz if he was writing his autobiography "all by himself".
Where do they find these 'journalists'? What a rag.

Well a lot of rockstars write their "autobiography" simply sitting in front of a tape recorder and a writer and splutting a few things all the world already knows about! Of course Moz isn't that kind. I hope he'll release it very soon, I can't wait to read it and I think somebody's legs are already turning into jelly!

I mean spluttering! I was dithering between spitting and spluttering!

Moz isn't a lot of rock stars, speed.
I'll say it again - imagine asking MOZ!!! if he's doing his autobiography all by himself.

sorry for repeating myself but sometimes it's forced upon me.

As long as the autobiography is not trucculent, devious or evasive.. and is totally candid on everything we've ever pondered, and answers every question ever posed, it'd be the bets 'best seller' ever. I reckon it will be another book of riddles though! And leave many more questions.

Moz has never been anything but totally honest and open, right from the early Smiths covers such as Hand In Glove or the debut album, through to his interviews and last but not least his lyrics. I can't think of too many songwriters who are as honest as Morrissey is. But it seems the more honest you are the more questions people have in their mind.
