Amongst the many new Morrissey appearances coming up in the near future, the one I'm perhaps looking forward to most is his TOTP's appearance. I'm wondering what will Morrissey do for this appearance. From "FAKE" tattooed on his neck, to flowers in his back pocket or badges proclaiming "Famous When Dead", Morrissey has always done something unique What little subversive prop will he use this time?

We get TOTP's down here. I never know how old it is when we get but I thought that Adam Ant chap who was number one last week seemed to be ok. The BBC World Service also do TOTP's on the wireless but that presenter is a bit too chirpy chirpy for my liking.

New Zealand is the first country outside of England to get it's own TOTP's. Formatted on the UK version. I had a drink with the presenter last week. Well he was actually at the bar at the same time as me, but we did sort of chat so it all counts. This is what happens when you live in a country with a population of 48.

Did you ever get to see his performance of "Roy's Keen" ? Superb.

BBC World Service? Blimey, you're not hiding out in the NZ jungle like one of those japanese snipers who still thinks the second world war is on are you?

Re TOTP, I reckon he'll have 'PEN 15' club stencilled across his brow.

PS, Hate to tell you this mate, Adam and the Ants have split up. No more hits for you too enjoy. Come on the Auckland Blues!

How do you know about the Auckland Blues? I hate them with a passion even if I do live Auckland. Highlanders for me. It's sort of a north/south divide like in England, expect the other way round. Shame about England not winning the Six nations

No I didn't. I'm just wondering if we were getting TOTP's then. What was special about his performance? I must admit it was hard trying to follow Morrissey during the "Malajusted" period. The press didn't have much time for him, nor most of the other media. His music wasn't getting played anywhere and he became written off by so many.

Look at how good Sanctuary are to him now.

He just looked and sounded great and the song really came alive. The performance was taped in the assumption that the single would reach the top 40 but it didn't so it was never shown....until TOTP2 showed it for the first time last year.

It wasn't "FAKE", it was "BAD" he had tatooed on his neck during The Boy With The Thorn In His Side. Sorry, just had to be anal.
