Normally, I would. But I already called out sick from work once this week (before finding out about this whole thing! and I really was ill). And I also have a meeting that I can't miss (it's my school magazine's last major meeting before we launch our debut issue). I feel like a bad fan now.

Will do. Starting now: the action begins tomorrow. (I'm not sure if that's really new news since I've heard whisperings about it being sometime this week.) The fact that it's tomorrow is the biggest reason I can't go. I'd probably have better luck getting out of my obligations if I hadn't just been told about it this evening. It's too late to talk to my boss. Too late to work something else out for my huge meeting tomorrow. If I'd had a few days notice, I'd have been able to swing something.
