With ip blocking features, member bans, warning points, the lot. I could have had some intellectual chat today instead of wasting my time proving to some kid with a pube infested keyboard that i am me and not someone else. I will be in touch soon David about a solution...

david likes the format, you can't ban people, proxy servers,
ip masking programmes etc, emails won't work, anyone can register
tons, who knows what you do, who knows, i hate these trolls too

This place definitely needs something new

I'm sure if I searched, I'd find that at least half of my posts in this f***ing place are in threads where I'm trying to make it clear that I'm not some of these alternate IDs that continually crop up. Even just incorporating a facility whereby you have to register to post would put people off keeping an endless stream of names on the go.

Re: This place definitely needs something new

You're right lutewhine. Many boards now, you have a moderator allow your registration. If you aren't satisfied with the info they provide, you just don't let them register, and if they do, they are easy to ban, just cancel the username account. I'm not letting the board go to such low depths as the chat has. Lets get something sorted, email me with suggestions and research possibilities to [email protected]

I know plenty about the internet. But then seeing as though you know everything about me you know that. And also that my name still isn't James. Having to register a ton of IDs would put people like - say - you off just entering a new ID with pretty much every new post (as is the current system). Obviously there'll still be the freaks like - say - you that may well be determined enough to go to all the trouble of registering dozens and dozens, but most would just stick with their normal one.

The really sad thing is that I can't even be arsed scrolling through the board anymore. I've got into the habit of just going to "search" and seeing which threads I've been unwittingly dragged into while I've been going about my day. Strangely enough, given how much of a prolific bullshitter you are, getting round to each one tends to take quite a while.

And Ian, make no mistake - I don't hate you because you're "rich", I don't hate you because you're "good looking". I hate you because you're the biggest wanker I've ever had the misfortune to stumble into on my various internet travels. And the funniest thing? The next biggest wanker AFTER you that I've come across is a neo-Nazi.

MBB, that address is bouncing back

My suggestion was http://www.phpbb.com/ though. It's all over the place these days, but is still very easily customisable so it needn't look like every other site that uses it.
