Would anyone who wants tickets for the Morrissey Smiths Disco please pay attention to the following and stop emailing or phoning the Star&Garter:

The remaining tickets for the May 21st Morrissey Smiths Disco will be on sale at the next Smiths Night - FRIDAY 9th APRIL. They are NOT for sale prior to this date at the Star&Garter and we are NOT in a position to reserve any for you or accept payment online or by cheque to the pub no matter how much you beg, plead, or complain that it's your birthday, you're a regular at the Smiths Night or you've liked Morrissey/The Smiths longer than anyone else, ever.

And thank you to everyone who appears to have voted for the Smiths Night/Smile/Star&Garter at the Manchester Awards site (www.manchesterawards.com) - you are all clearly quite mad

There's nothing worse than posting a message up and immediately noticing that you've made an error of that magnitude.

Smiths Night 21st May the night before the Arena gig.

The 29th of May is a Thursday and Smiths Nights aren't on Thursdays.

On Thursday 29th May there's an excellent CND gig on at the Star&Garter though, and such a shameless plug should conveniently cover my schoolboy error in the original post.

You normally do a lot of "gripping" at the Smiths nights anyway.
