I was "so knowledgable" (sic) because I bought the Evening Standard on Monday night and read about it. Not exactly in-depth research. Today I had a conversation at work with someone who mentioned that the booking fee on the top price tix is going to be £15. That was my original post, and from that suddenly I'm accused of being a tout.
Like I said, the only tix I've sold on ebay or anywhere else were for one of the Pixies dates in Brixton, as they put a Saturday night gig on sale a week after I'd bought tix for Thursday. For beer-related reasons I prefer gigging at the weekend. For the record, the opening price for this auction was 1p with no reserve.
> THEN he tries to defend touting
My exact words were:
"Fact 1) I am not a tout
Fact 2) Being accused of being a tout wouldn't bother me even if I was a tout
Fact 3) I'm not massively anti-touting anyway"
I later elaborated on this by saying:
"I'm not a fan of touting, but I'm not one of the "report to ebay" bunch either. I'm a touting moderate - I know it happens, kind of go "huh", but I neither partake in it nor march against it."
Not exactly defending touting, I'd say.
> THEN he resorts to using multiple names defending himself
Not once did I do this. This is the only non-Lutewhine post I have made in something like 3 years.
If anyone claims otherwise, they're wrong.
>THEN he tries to post lots of "spoiler" messages so everyone passes over them
Nope, I think you'll find that was you in an attempt to disguise the fact that you weren't answering my questions to elaborate on the accusations you'd made. Feel free to provide links though, so David T can have a look at the IP addresses for you. And no, I don't use whatever that anonymity thing is that you keep blathering on about.
> THEN he gets his alter ego UNCLESKINNY to defend him because he sent him one > file by email.
As far as I'm aware Skinny didn't make any attempt to defend me, and nor should he have as I simply don't know him - he got involved in an attempt to make it clear that an alias he'd posted under wasn't me.
> and then he says he doesn't like madonna, DUH you have been exposed
No I didn't - I just said I had no interest in going to one of her gigs, especially at Earl's Court and especially especially when tix were £50-£150. Quite what your point in all this has been I have no idea, but then nor do I much care. Whatever people believe on all this matters not a jot as I've no plans to sell any tickets for anything at any point in the future. If however Mozzerian or whatever he's called in this particular hour would like to provide links to any auction listings that he may believe are me, feel free.
