I always wonder why this issue always comes up? With talks about liking soul music, pictures of vespa's and backdrops of skinheads wearing Perry's it's obvious that Morrissey wasn't referring to neo-nazi skinheads when he said he had a certain admiration for them. If anyone knows there history of youth cult's then they would know a suedehead isn't even a skinhead but mixture of a skinhead and mod who predominately listened to black music of the times. I do think the title of "national front disco" was in poor taste but then again it wasn't meant to be taken too seriously.
 
i always thought that the whole skinhead style gave morrissey a certain coolness. just look at the cover of the boy racer single.

I don't exactly see how the cover of boy racer refers to skinheads. If you want a better example just look at a cover of have a go merchant.
