Well, the reason you may have had trouble finding the lyrics is because the song was actually written by Al Green, and not Orange Juice.

I'm fairly sure that these are right, give or take a word or two.

Ahhhh, it was only the other night I found a live Orange Juice video, I had forgotten I had. 'You Can't Hide Your Love Forever' has to be one of the best debut albums.

I think I'll go and given them a spin before I rest my weary head tonight.

I nicked those lyrics off some dodgy looking lyrics site, so it's probably been transcribed by someone who either has
a) ears of cloth,
b) English as a second language
I did a quick scan but didn;t really check them. Also, Edwyn may have altered the lyrics slightly. Who knows ...
