I just stumbled across a listing for a book aparently written by Andy Rourke. It has an ISBN number and a price too. Does anyone in the book trade have any more information? How about you Bluenose.

Hey, it's my day off!!

Oh, go on then.
I have managed to access Whitaker's online, who we use for further details for ordering books, and it does not recognise the ISBN.
I'm back in work tomorrow, so I'll put it in our local database and see if I can get some more info. I can search ISBNs for books not just kept by my library authority (Inter-library loans), so I'll let you know tomorrow.

Ahhh, Inter-library loans. The the only method I could get to read 'Spend Spend Spend' many years ago...

How about that for a tenious link between you, me and libraries!

Re: Hey, it's my day off!!

Sorry Bluenose, you'll have to learn to say "No". I've had a trawl around 'tinternet and there is another reference to Andy Rourke's biog, but I bet it was never published. I bet Morrissey's lawyer knows all about it!

Andy I., what do you know of this?

Global Books In Print have it listed on their database. Perhaps the best database around to use for book searches. It sounds as if it had been accepted by a publisher and was ready to be printed, but not. Most likely a few injunctions have been slapped on it. Mind you with it being written by Andy Rouke, it isn't going to be that insightful is it? Chapter Four, How To Chase The Dragon Without Morrissey Knowing.

ha ha, very funny (not really).
There's some information about the book in the foreword (end of first paragraph) written by Johnny Rogan for Andy's site.
