Sheet Music

I was reading on here the other day about a 'Viva Hate' song book that was up for sale on E:bay. I'm wondering if there were any others published? I suppose long-gone are the days when you could go to a music shop and pick up a copy of your favourite tune in crochets and minims.

I've got one for "Strangeways".None for Moz solo though.

I wouldn't say "Viva Hate" was sheet music though....I quite liked some of it...GROAN....:)

I have the Viva Hate music book and it is great... I got mine on ebay... it was worth every penny.

Re: Sheet Music - For Tingle

My dear Tingle, you can still get music ! You need to talk to the music publisher - warners and so on. There's a nice little shop in london that still has tunes by a guy called Mozart. You can also order pop music via shops like Fox's Music and HMV Books. The Virgin Megastore in London Town has plenty of options in store for those musicians interested in covering modern pop classics.

What do you play Tingle ? Apart form a great tune on the pink oboe, as I do too! Only joking.. are you a pianist? You come over as the type...

Anyway, surely Virgin or big HMV's have guitar/piano tab books with all those brieves and quavers you so dotted miniminally wanted to see.

Re: Sheet Music - For Strawberry

Ah! Thanks Strawberry. I have a music shop near me called 'Hands' (cue Max Bygraves impression ... "You need Hands.. la la la", and indeed they sell music in books - you know '100 greatest show tunes' etc and even Radiohead music albums in book form. I've looked for Smiths and Morrissey in such places but never found any.

Thansk for asking Ruff.

Re: Sheet Music - For Tingle

They can order it. No problem.

For the musically gifted, it may also give a few hours of magical entertainment, playing and singing along !

Tingle - Lush.

I can't resist saying this - perhaps you could go and help Johnny Marr.... urgh I know that sounds unkind, but I am very nice, really.
