You Took My Idea For My Next Poll On This Message Board And Now You Must Be Punished.

Mind Reader!

If you had 20 songs to select which would you pick for the very very very very very Best of Moz?

"Everday is Like Sunday," okay that's one, 19 to go!

Just buy yourself Vauxhall & I and then, add the following ...

1. Angel Angel (live fast bootleg rock version.. that's rare)
2. Last of the famous (for kicking your legs in the air like a mouiln rouge dancer)
3. Hairdresser (coz its a great London esque song)
3a. November spawned/Ouija Ouija (can't make my mind up!)
4. Sing Your life (put the 'big light on' and dance your girl around the 'front room')
5. pregnant For the last time (as 4)
6. Sister I'm A poet (for being a great song)
7. National Front Disco
8. Suedehead
9. everyday is like sunday
10. My Love life
11. tomorrow
12. Sunny
13. Jack the ripper
14. You're Gonna Need Someone On Your Side
15. Seasick still docked
16. Interlude
17. MoonRiver (cover)
then finish off with the magnificent
18. 'The Loop' (for reasons 4 above..)

In no partiocular thought out running order.. I can't see how you get better than this.. Apart from most 'Smiths' albums of course (there you go, pinning my colours to the mast!)

Ruffian

Something like:

1. I Know Very Well How I Got My Name
2. Speedway
3. Hairdresser On Fire
4. Billy Budd
5. King Leer
6. The Boy Racer
7. Trouble Loves Me
8. Everyday Is Like Sunday
9. The National Front Disco
10. Late Night, Maudlin Street
11. Now My Heart Is Full
12. Seasick Yet Still Docked
13. Nobody Loves Us
14. Hold Onto Your Friends
15. I Know It's Gonna Happen Someday
16. Why Don't You Find Out For Yourself?
17. Jack The Ripper
18. The Edges Are No Longer Parallel
19. Tomorrow
20. Lost

Re: Ultimate Morrissey compilation...

I know how you can get better than this.

Take Ghoulie's compilation (above) over yours.

Excellent suggestion...I do already own Vauxhall (bought proudly on its original release date!) and a comp. very similiar to your list above.

Thanks for playing.

You need to get laid!!

Buy a pickle...no one human would touch you.

Do they sell dildo's shaped like you cock??....I need something to pick my teeth with.

Re: Not to steal your thunder, but your "idea" has been done to death many times before my post.

How would you know Jan, as you are a newbie here?

I don't recognize your name from months or years past.

Wow, if I were to do such a comp, I would probably choose 17 or 18 DIFFERENT songs than you....

to each their own! I would probably only use three of your picks:

> 9. jack the ripper (rare studio version)

> 11. nobody loves us

> 14. trouble loves me

The names may change but the story remains the same...
been coming here since 1999.

Why did you change your name?

What were your previous names?
