I hope you all are voting for Morrissey!!!

Okay, I did it.

Just remember when Ben (Kakarot) tried something like this before. I'm willing to be they'll ignore the votes, whether Morrissey wins or not. Jut because it's not rap.

Be prepared to send some nasty emails to MTV, like we did before.

P.S. Did you all notice the extreme format change in 120 Minutes. Yes, it's bad alternative music, but I never thought they'd get so low to play Puff Daddy. There's no format now!

MTV is Dead

Be certain that the second you take your eyes off the TV they'll air a Moz video, It's as certain as death & taxes... I afraid your efforts will be ignored because it makes too much sense. MTV is dead!!!!

HANG the mtv vj's!

Because the videos they CONSTANLY play.. they say/and or show nothing to me about my life! Aw as Morrissey once said.. " Mtv mtv oh kiss their arses". I think that says it all :)

Do you remember the days you could come home from school and watch new waves videos on channel 5 on Video 1 hosted by Richard Blade? Videos haven't been the same since...

No hope for 120 Minutes or MTV

The last bastion of "good" alternative music on MTV, 120 Minutes, is now the home of Limp Bizkit, Kid Rock, and the latest rap/rock/hip hop influenced video that is out. I used to tape 120 Minutes for my own personal archives, but not I don't even bother to watch. The last time I actually watched 120 Minutes, the latest in unsigned garage bands were featured, and classic alternatives had been eliminated. So much for progress. I've sent my share of E-mails and snail mail to MTV. The E-mails aren't even opened anymore. MTV doesn't care about its viewers unless you stand in the street and scream for the latest boy band or "Lolita" singer or self-styled pimp rapper. Morrissey shouldn't be defiled by being mentioned in that category .

Except M2's Jancee Dunn!!!! She loves Morrissey!

M2 will play Morrissey and Smiths sometimes and Jancee loves to introduce them. She is so awesome. Sometimes she is half the reason to watch M2. And after the radio station thing Moz did she told this funny story about it and how crazed the fans were. I think I forgot to tell you all about that. I have it on tape though so maybe I'll transcribe it soon.

Oh, man. Last time someone brought her up, all I ever talked about was how cute she is.

Of course. She's ravishing. (See!)

I wish she had more pull at MTV, though. I remember when Ben tried to start that MTV campaign, and it fell through. Yes, weeks later they played "....Playboys", but now it seems impossible.

Go ahead and post it. I'd love to read it.

Pretty sad. That kinda crap music is alternative....to GOOD music.

Same here. Ever since that fat bastard hosted the show, anything on or before the Madchester era was just completely dismissed. At least Lewis Largent's era had classic clips like The Chameleons.

And, these garage bands are clearly the same crap as the signed bands.

I remember when 120 Minutes actually asked for viewers to send comments and suggestions at the end of every show. Now, they want to do it their way, at our expense.

True, but I need to see some Morrissey videos. Those DVDs have remained tenative and unconfirmed lately. MTV has such a fascist stronghold on the music video format. It's pathetic. I think I'll have to buy a satellite dish just for MTV Europe.

Re: Except M2's Jancee Dunn!!!! She loves Morrissey!

she called him "the celibate king" in Rolling Stone. that wasn't very nice.
