If you'd like an original copy of the Saturday Evening Post magazine from 1961 that was the source of the Shelagh Delaney picture The Smiths used on the Louder than Bombs cover, just post a reply to this message. I'll take up to the first 30 posts and then use a random number generator Saturday morning (US central time) to pick the lucky bastard, uhh, winner.

I'll contact you via email or the board to get your address if you win.

This is becoming a rare issue. The circulation of the Post was high at the time, but unlike several of the other early 1960s SEPs, this copy didn't have a lot of Kennedy pictures or articles, so it wasn't one that people set aside. Please only respond if you want the magazine for your own Moz/Smiths collection. Good luck, and Ahimsa!

Thanks for the emailed responses. But please respond to this post. Thanks

Count me in you English son bitch.

The PIMP should win it...just by the fact that I worship the f***in man.

Sure! Ask Joseph W. & Bluenose.

I sent them copies in September and October.

In the article beneath the picture, Shelagh says "Anger is the sinew of the soul". That might be true. But there is no strength without heart. I just want to share a little with the Moz/Smiths community.

If you have so many, why do you only offer us one?? Greedy bitch!!

I see like 6 copies in the pic you posted. Why hoard them you selfish son of a bitch!!??? I hope I haven't ruined my chances of winning.
