Do you think that a major label will pick up morrissey again if his new album does well??????

I know he's on sanctuary,but thats not a major...Im talking like sony,rca/atlantic,universal...and so on???? With the histories he's had with the other labels??? I'd say,this album has to be brilliant and sell at least a couple million for him to be signed again. Plus,various reasons. I still say...no matter what anyone here thinks,that morrissey and marr havent seen the last of each other. You throw the right amount of wompom in front of both,they'll do it. What does anyone else think about this?????

I have the utmost confidence that after his indy release, Morrissey will sign with a big label. Besides Good Charlotte expressing interest in signing the legendary crooner, Bad Boy and Rocafella Records have also set their eyes on the Los Angelino.

Morrissey's days are numbered, but I hope I'm wrong. I think 2 more albums would be enough.

I think if Morrissey stays away from Hewitt Packard and Suzuki commercials like some people he will be just fine.

Technically, he is. Sanctuary is distributed by BMG. This way, he retains "indie cred" by being on a "hip label" with the unit-moving capabilities of a corporation.
